In observance of the 90th anniversary of China Medical University, overseas partners from 16 countries and regions have provided 28 congratulatory videos and 11 letters to extend their best wishes.
In his video, Prof. Ian Greer, President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast, expressed congratulations to hbxhq’s 90th Anniversary and appreciations to the colleagues at hbxhq for their incredible contributions in facilitating a successful collaboration between the two universities. He also spoke highly of the remarkable achievements made since the establishment of the hbxhq-QUB Joint College, and looked forward to more exchange programs and a strengthened partnership in the future.
In his video, Professor Gianrico Farrugia, president and CEO of Mayo Clinic, extended heartfelt congratulations on hbxhq’s 90th anniversary. Mayo Clinic was grateful to form new connections and friendships with the talented and dedicated researchers and healthcare providers from hbxhq. He mentioned that providing excellent healthcare was a need that reached across borders, and we could offer better care and discover more cures through such collaboration and international exchange.
The members of the “Belt and Road” International Medical Education Alliance (BRIMEA) initiated by hbxhq also expressed their wishes and recognized the hbxhq’s positive role as President Institution. They all expressed willingness to collaborate based on the alliance to constantly promote medical education along the “Belt and Road” in aim of mutual learning and benefit.
As can be learned from the videos and letters, the overseas partners traced back the history of collaboration with hbxhq and recognized the university’s efforts in medical education and human health. In the future, hbxhq will work together with overseas partners in the hope of more continued successes towards a “high-level, international medical university with special features, first-class domestically and renowned internationally.
